CICSE Regional Throwball Tournament

• Queen Mary, Under-17 Girls secured second place in the Inter School CICSE Regional Throwball Tournament held at Shishuvan English Medium School, Matunga, 2023.

Inter School March Past Competition

• Queen Mary School, Girls Squad secured third place in the YMCA Inter-School March Past Competition held at the University Ground on 21st January, 2023.

Inter School Throwball Tournament

• Queen Mary, Under-16 Girls secured first place in the Inter School MSSA Throwball Competition held at Swadhay Bhavan School, Matunga on 11th January, 2023.

• Mrunmayee Potdar has made us proud by winning various competitions at DSO held on 2nd and 3rd December, 2022. She has secured first place in swimming - 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle. She has been also selected to represent Zonal level.

AISM National Throwball Tournament

• AISM National Throwball Tournament held at Pune Vidya Valley School on 8th to 10th November. U/16 Maharashtra girls team Secured 1st place. Mrs. Nandini Save the Physical Education Teacher was appointed as Coach for U/14 girls.

CISCE National Carrom Competition

• Kriya Shah ( Form 10 )secured the 2nd place in under 17 girls age group in the CISCE National Carrom Competition which was organized by St.Joseph High School, Hyderabad from 23rd to 25th September.

CISCE Regional Karate Competition

• Khushi Sharma from Form 10 secured the 3rd place in under 17 girls age group in CISCE Regional Karate Competition organized by N.L Dalmiya School, Mira Road on 3rd August 2022.

CISCE Regional Yoga Competition

• Devashree Makwana from Form 10 won the 3rd place in the under 17 girls category in the CISCE Regional Yoga Competition organized by Queen Mary School, Grant Road on 4th and 5th August.

Gymnastics

• Riya Sawant of Form 9Alpha (First from left)participated in the Asian Trial Selections. She has been selected to represent India in the Junior Asian championship which is scheduled to be held in Indonesia.

Gymnastics

• Riya Sawant of Form 9 Alpha, who has won fame and laurels for her school. In the District Championship held on 24th Feb., 2018, Riya secured a gold medal in the floor exercise category she won a gold medal in the uneven bar category, a silver medal in the Balancing Beam competition, a gold Medal for her All round performance and a gold medal for the Team.

• From 9th to 12th February, 2018, in Federation State Selection Riya Sawant of Form 9 secured a Gold medal in Floor exercise category. She won a Silver medal in Uneven Bar and Balancing Beam Competitions, a Silver medal for the Team. She stood first in overall performance.

• On 18th Nov, 2017 in MSSA held at Wadala, Riya Sawant secured a Gold medal in Floor exercise and Vault category and 3rd place in Balancing Beam category.

• In Aurangabad State selection on 31st Oct, 2017, Riya Sawant secured 8th place in Overall performance.

• In DSO Schools U/17, 3rd October, 2017, Riya Sawant won 1st place in Floor exercises and Balancing Beam, 2nd in Uneven Bar and Vault category and 1st in the overall competition.
• On 28th Oct, 2017, in Zonal selections for states held at Parle, Riya was ranked 5th in Overall Performance.

Gymnastics

• On 24th September, 2017, In AISM held at Euro School, Airoli, Riya Sawant secured a Gold medal in Floor Exercise category, a Silver medal in Balancing Beam, Bronze in Vault and Uneven Bar category and 2nd place in Overall performance

• On 29th and 30th April 2017, Mayor’s Trophy held at Chembur. Riya Sawant secured second place in beam and Silver medal as a Team

THROWBALL

• Queen Mary School participated in DSO Throwball competition at Shishuvan School, Matunga on 8th October, 2017 and secured the second and third place in group U/14 and U/16 category respectively.

TABLE TENNIS

• Queen Mary School participated in the U/17 DSO Table Tennis Championship and secured the 1st position among 20 other schools.from Mumbai city. Our team will play Zonals on 14 September 2017 in Thane The participants were Teesha Shah, Pari Shah, Anushtha Shah and Esha Shah.

ATHLETICS

Mahek Shah

• Mahek Shah secured the gold medal in 600m and 100m in the girls U/14 category at the Bombay City District Amateurs Athletic Meet Held in September. She qualified for the State Meet held at Nagpur and came sixth all over Maharashtra
• In the DSO City Meet she won a gold in 200m and was selected for the division Meet .
• At the All ICSE Meet she bagged the silver medal n the 200m event and timed the better meet record.

GYMNASTICS

Riya Sawant

• At the AISM Inter School Gymnastic Competion held at Euro School , Airoli, Riya Sawant secured Gold medals for Balancing Beam, Floor Exercises, Vault, Uneven Bar. She was declared the All rounder Gymnast and secured a Gold medal.
• At the Mumbai City Schools Gymnastics Competition, she bagged the First place in Vaulting, the Silver medal in Balancing Beam and she qualified for the State level too.
• At MSSA competition Riya Bagged Gold medal in Vault and Silver Medals for Floor Exercises and the Balancing Beam
• For Riya’s contribution and merits in the field of Gymnastics, in the age group of U/8 till date , Riya was the recipient of The Wagle Sports MSSA Excellence Award for Gymnastics

• Ria Doshi, Teesha Shah, Pari Shah, Esha Shah Participated in DSO, and Meraki interschool competition and secured the first place.

• Our school students participated in 3rd National level tournament of imgka held on 9th october 2016 at aryan school, Mumbai.

SWIMMING

Khushi Deshmukh

• Khushi Deshmukh participated in the DSO swimming meet and secure the first runner up position in 100m and 200m Butterfly stroke, and qualified for the zonal meet.
• In October, she represented mumbai at the ICSE Schools State Championship and secured a silver medal in 100m Butterfly stroke , a gold medal in the 200m Individual Medley event and qualified for the ICSE nationals.
• In December she won a gold medal in the 200m Individual Medley event and a silver in the 100m Butterfly stroke event.
• She was awarded the best swimmer trophy for 2016 at the Malabar Hill Mahotsav.

HIGHBOARD DIVING

Aarya Parmar

• At the GMAAA(Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association) meet, she secured the 1stplace in highboard, 3m springboard and 1m springboard diving
• At the MSAAA(Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association)meet, she secured the 2ndplace in highboard, 3m springboard, 1m springboard diving and qualified for the Nationals. She was ranked among the top 5 divers in India.
• In the Open Senior GMAAA (Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association) meet ,she secured the 1st place in highboard diving.
• She represented Mumbai Open Senior MSAAA (Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association) meet and bagged the 1st place in highboard diving
• In the District Interschool Championship Aarya Parmar bagged the 1stplace in highboard diving, 3m springboard,1m springboard diving And was selected for the State level.
• At 62nd Junior and Subjunior State Aquatic Meet she secured the 1st place in highboard diving and the 2nd place in 3m springboard diving
• Qualified for nationals and ranked in the top 5.

MERAKI

Mishti Shah

• She won 1st place in freestyle swimming.
• 1st place in swimming breast stroke.
• 1st place in swimming back stroke.

THROWBALL

• Girls U/14 participated in the District level Throwball Championship and secured the 1st place.They qualified for the Zonal level which is to be held in October.
• IN MSSA throwball championship they secured the 1st runner up position held December.
• The participants were: Teesha Shah, Shruti Shah, Niyati Shah, Harshvi Shah, Rutu Shah, Raina Shah, Rena Shah, Jheel Jain, Achira Parekh, Krisha Shah

INTERSCHOOL MERAKI COMPETITION

• Girls U/16 participated in the Interschool Meraki competition held by Jankidevi Public School and secured the 1st place.
• IN MSSA throwball championship, they secured the 1st runner up position held December.
• The participants were: Khanak Mehta, Mahera Furniturewala, Aarya Parmar, Ishika Lodha, Madhurima Kannan, Kosha Shah, Esha Shah, Yashvi Shah, Preet Thakkar, Sneh Shah.

TENNIKOIT

• This year the DSO introduced a new Olympic sport called Tennikoit.
• Queen Mary participated in this event and the U/14 team bagged the first place and the U/16 team secured the second place. Both the teams qualified for the Zonal level.
• U/16 Participants : Mahera Furniturewala, Anushtha Shah, Saloni Jhaveri, Ishika Lodha, Sana Hakim, Aarya Parmar. U/14 Participants : Teesha Shah, Shruti Shah, Krisha Shah, Rutu Shah, Raina Shah, Harshvi Shah.

JUNIOR NATIONAL THROWBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

• In November, 2016 Mahera Furniturewala and Esha Shah participated and represented Mumbai at the 28th Junior National Throwball Championship.
• U/14 : Teesha Shah, Shruti Shah, Krisha Shah, Rutu Shah, Raina Shah,Harshvi Shah.

NEERMITA BHATTACHARYA

• Stood 2nd in ICSE State Championship. She was Selected for the state level in June.

SWIM FOR MAHASEER

• Queen Mary school relay team comprising of : Ananya Anandkak, Neemita Bhattacharya, Shubhechha Mehta, Dhruvi Gala.
• secured 2nd place in "Swim for Mahaseer" swimming competition organised by Tata power on 24th of Nov. 2016.

50 METERS FREESTYLE.

• Neemita Bhattacharya from 7th std secured 3rd place in 50 meters freestyle.

INTERNATIONAL MEIBUKAN GOJU KYU KARATE

• Khushi Sharma participated in the International Meibukan Goju kyu Karate - Do Association Home Tournament held at Mumbai in October, 2017 and secured:
• 1st place in Kata Event, U/10 girls B Group.
• 2nd place in Kumite Event, U/7-10 girls Group.
• Khushi Sharma was awarded the rank of ROK-Kyu in the art of International Meibukan Goju kyu Karate - Do in recognition of her skills, fine character and ability held at Mumbai in December, 2017
